Seating

Set up assigned seating or zones

Build the map, let buyers pick seats, and know what you can change after sales start.

Seating

Support can send this URL to organisers who need these steps.

  1. Step 1

    Add sections on Seating

Name the section, set colour, price, sales window, and a rows × seats grid (or a zone with capacity). Place it on the canvas. Each assigned section becomes its own ticket type.

  2. Step 2

    What buyers see

If any type uses assigned or zone selection, checkout is Tickets → Seats → Delivery → Payment. Taken seats are greyed out. General admission events skip the Seats step.

  3. Step 3

    After tickets have sold

You can add rows to an assigned section using the same seats-per-row so existing seat IDs stay valid. You cannot widen or shrink a sold section — add a new section instead. Zones can increase capacity but cannot drop below sold plus reserved.

Keep in mind

  • Resizing a section before any sale regenerates the grid. Do not resize after a seat has sold.
